Welcome to college football Week 11.
You may be familiar with our weekly moneyline underdog article. Well, we decided a couple of years ago that we needed to show love for the other side by also sharing our two favorite college football favorites that we share weekly on the "Big Bets on Campus" podcast.
We affectionately refer to them as "overdogs," thanks to one of our beloved callers.
To keep the chalk talk rolling this week, we're backing two favorites — one relatively short home favorite in the Big 12 and one national power with a big spread.
Let's dive into our Week 11 college football predictions and NCAAF picks for TCU vs. Iowa State and Notre Dame vs. Navy on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Week 11 College Football Predictions, Picks
Stuckey: TCU -7 vs. Iowa State
| Iowa State Odds | ||
|---|---|---|
| Spread | Total | Moneyline |
+7 -110 | 57.5 -110o / -110u | +235 |
| TCU Odds | ||

| Spread | Total | Moneyline |
-7 -110 | 57.5 -110o / -110u | -290 |
I’m all over TCU at -7 or better.
Iowa State is a mess right now. The Cyclones don't get pressure up front, their secondary is a disaster, and it's just a bad situation all around.
That’s a recipe for getting sliced and diced against a TCU offense that’s putting up nearly 35 points a game.
And on the flip side, Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht hasn’t been himself since the Cincinnati game.
Something’s definitely off for the Cyclones, who find themselves on a four-game losing streak, including a loss to a Colorado team that has given up over 100 points in its last two outings.
I see TCU rolling again here, making it five straight losses for Iowa State. Give me the Frogs.
Collin Wilson: Notre Dame -27.5 vs. Navy
| Navy Odds | ||
|---|---|---|
| Spread | Total | Moneyline |
+27.5 -110 | 55 -110o / -110u | +1500 |
| Notre Dame Odds | ||
|---|---|---|
| Spread | Total | Moneyline |
-27.5 -110 | 55 -110o / -110u | -3500 |
I’m going with Notre Dame in this one. It feels like the Fighting Irish will put up a 50-burger here.
I think this will just be a rerun from last year, when Notre Dame won, 51-14, despite the Midshipmen entering the game with a strong placement in the American standings.
The Irish sit at 10th in the College Football Playoff rankings and need to put on a flashy show for the committee.
Notre Dame matches up well with Navy's run concepts and shouldn't have a hard time dominating this game.
I expect the Irish to come out strong and keep the pressure on the whole way through.
