Western Kentucky vs Nevada Pick, Betting Analysis
I like Nevada in this spot as a short 'dog. This line has been coming down, and I think that's for a good reason.
This is a late kick and a long travel spot for a Western Kentucky team that's basically starting over outside of quarterback and a couple of safeties.
The Hilltoppers' top receiver is likely going to be out, and I don't like anything on their defense besides the safeties who are returning.
Nevada should be able to run the ball with ease, and its quarterback — Carter Jones — is in his second year. I've heard good things about Jones, especially with his added experience.
On top of that, I really like their coach, Jeff Choate, who now enters his third year in Reno.
Dylan LaBarbera and this Wolf Pack defense will likely cause issues for Western Kentucky's offense, and Nevada should end up getting this one done at home.
Pick: Nevada ML -102
