Online casino operator Rush Street Interactive, Inc. has announced the expansion of BetRivers Poker into Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia.

The announcement comes following the platform's initial launch in Pennsylvania late last year. The expansion aims to merge player pools across four states, enabling increased competition, larger tournament prizes, and a broader range of games.

Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI, commented on the move, saying that the cross-state network will draw more players to the tables and elevate BetRivers Poker's standing in the industry. "The launch of a unified cross-state player pool significantly enhances the BetRivers Poker experience," said Schwartz. "By expanding the network, we’ll bring more players to our tables, offer a wider variety of games, and raise the stakes with larger tournament prize pools."

BetRivers Poker is the second brand to operate a four-state poker network following WSOP, now owned by Caesars. WSOP's pooled poker platform spans New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.

Galfond Helps Develop BetRivers Poker

Development of BetRivers Poker has been driven by input from the poker community, most notably by Phil Galfond, a poker professional and industry innovator.

Galfond has been integral in shaping the platform’s gameplay and features, emphasizing fairness and player rewards. "As poker players, we built this platform for the players – all of them," said Galfond. "From brand-new poker players to seasoned pros, we focused on fairness, fun, unique features, and meaningful player rewards."

17-time World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth has also joined forces with BetRivers, bringing his expertise and public profile to the platform. His involvement is expected to enhance engagement through various media and live events.

BetRivers Adds To Its Game Formats and Features

BetRivers Poker offers a range of game formats, including cash games, Sit & Go tournaments, and Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs). Unique features such as dynamic avatars and Cub3d Sit & Go Tournaments further distinguish the platform.
