Fanatics Fair Play continues to deliver for bettors — and April was one of its biggest months yet.
With injuries piling up across the NBA and other leagues, Fanatics Sportsbook once again stepped in to protect users, turning what could have been frustrating losses into major saves throughout the month.
For those unfamiliar, Fanatics Fair Play states that if a player exits a game due to injury in the first or second quarter and is ruled out for the remainder of the game, all straight prop bets on that player are refunded. Parlays are also protected, with the injured player’s leg removed entirely.
And across April, the numbers show just how impactful the promotion has become:
- 93 total Fair Play exits
- Over $2.84 million paid out to users
- 213,000+ qualifying wagers
The NBA led the way when it came to the biggest Fair Play moments of the month.
The single largest payout came on April 6, when Victor Wembanyama exited early against the 76ers, which cost Fanatics over $532,000. Just over a week later, Bam Adebayo triggered another major Fair Play outcome on April 14, resulting in $477,000 in payouts.
Wembanyama, in particular, was a central figure in April’s totals. The Spurs star triggered Fair Play twice during the month, with those two exits combining for more than $900,000 in payouts.
It's clear just how valuable the promotion has been as injuries continue to impact marquee players across the board.
With more than $2.84 million returned to bettors in April — and hundreds of thousands of wagers kept alive — Fanatics Fair Play remains one of the most impactful bettor-friendly promotions in the market today.
