I wonder if anyone was betting on this.
BetRivers has hit a major milestone, becoming the fourth online casino operator in Michigan to pull in $20 million in a single month.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board reported that BetRivers hit the mark in September, alongside industry giants FanDuel, BetMGM, and DraftKings.
BetRivers is operated by Rush Street Interactive and partners with Little River Casino Resort. The news comes after BetRivers recently announced the expansion of its online poker offerings in the Wolverine State.
With online casinos becoming increasingly popular, BetRivers' September earnings also reached an increase of almost 63% when compared to the previous year. The company has now set new revenue records for five months in a row.
BetRivers secured $160.2 million in revenue in just the first nine months of 2025, already surpassing its entire earnings in 2024.
Record Revenue for Michigan's Online Casinos
In a broader view, Michigan's online casino market continues to flourish.
September alone saw total gross operator winnings reach $259.1 million—a significant increase of 28% from the same time last year.
This is the third consecutive month where the state's online casino earnings have surpassed $250 million. These earnings are beneficial for everyone, contributing nearly $51 million in tax revenue to the state.
Detroit collected $13 million from this, while tribal communities received nearly $6.1 million.

Michigan Online Casinos Have Been on an Upward Trend
The upward trajectory for Michigan's online casinos isn't just a short-lived trend.
The state's online casino market brought in a staggering $2.44 billion in 2024, up 27.1% from 2023. Last year, December set a new record with $244 million in earnings, only to be topped in March 2025 at $260.5 million, and then again in April.
One of the few "off" months occurred in June.
Over the years, Michigan's 15 online casinos have generated over $2 billion in tax revenue, further signaling the industry's growing importance to the state's economy.
This sets the stage for continued growth and innovation in the sector, with anticipation building for what 2025 and beyond will bring. In Michigan's thriving online gaming world, it seems the sky's the limit.

BetRivers Also Continues to Thrive
With BetRivers joining the ranks of Michigan's top operators and the state's online casino industry consistently breaking records, the future looks incredibly promising.
Players can enjoy various perks when they sign up.
It's a strategy that has certainly paid off as BetRivers secured $160.2 million in revenue in just the first nine months of 2025, already surpassing its entire earnings in 2024.

While online casinos can be a fun way to play, it's important to exhibit responsible gambling habits. Remember, gambling should be about entertainment, not making money.
Players should set limits on their play, watch out for signs of gambling problems, and get help if they need it. Many online casinos provide tools and resources to help players gamble responsibly. This way, playing stays fun and doesn't lead to problems.
