WSOP 2026 is underway with a new, updated look.
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is back for its 57th consecutive year, and this year’s series is already making headlines.
Players from around the world have arrived in Las Vegas and will be competing for seven weeks of nonstop poker action. Not only are they gearing up for the Super High Roller on June 13, but others can’t wait for the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, which starts on June 22. The WSOP online series is running at the same time.
But one of the highlights we’ve seen so far is the debut of the brand-new WSOP Main Stage inside Paris Las Vegas. It’s a massive, high-tech space built to showcase the biggest moments of the summer.
A New Era for the WSOP Main Stage
The WSOP officially unveiled its new Main Stage, and it’s clear the team wanted to create something special. The space covers more than 25,000 square feet and is designed to look and feel like a full production studio.
Some of the standout features include:
- LED lighting fixtures — all energy‑efficient and fully programmable
- 1.5 miles of LED tape — wrapping the stage in color and motion
- Nearly 1,200 LED tiles — adding up to more than 43 million pixels
- Five custom feature tables — each equipped with RFID tech for real‑time card tracking
The entire project was designed and built by Blueprint 52, led by Justin Garrone, who has now spent 16 years working with the WSOP. Even more impressive: the installation took less than two weeks and required nearly 8,000 hours of labor.

What to Expect From WSOP 2026
The 2026 World Series of Poker runs through July 15 at both Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. Players can expect around 100 bracelet events, ranging from low‑buy‑in tournaments to high‑roller championships.

- Event #50 MILLIONAIRE MAKER No‑Limit Hold’em (5‑day event) – June 17 – $1,500 buy‑in
- Event #53 Five‑Card Pot‑Limit Omaha (3‑day event) – June 18 – $1,500 buy‑in
- Event #60 Poker Players Championship (5‑day event) – June 21 – $50,000 buy‑in
- Event #63 Mystery Millions No‑Limit Hold’em (3‑day event) – June 23 – $1,000 buy‑in
- Event #91 “Pick Your PLO” (3‑day event) – July 9 – $1,500 buy‑in
For the first time, a WSOP Summer Circuit will begin during the final days of the bracelet series, running from July 14–25, ensuring the action in Las Vegas never slows down.
The WSOP Main Event Returns July 2–5
The highlight of every WSOP is the $10,000 No‑Limit Hold’em Main Event, and this year is no different. The tournament begins with four Day 1 flights from July 2–5 and plays down to a final table around July 13.
In a throwback to the old “November Nine” era, the final table will pause and resume August 3–5 for the ESPN broadcast production.
Last year’s Main Event winner, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, returns to defend his title after winning $10 million from a field of 9,735 players. Fans will be watching closely to see whether he can make another deep run. The 2025 WSOP also saw Leonore “Leo” Margets become the first woman to make the final table in 30 years.
