The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs will play a football game on Sunday. The betting markets, however, are doing their best ping-pong impersonation on the AFC Championship Game odds.

Cincinnati's surge parlayed with Patrick Mahomes' high-ankle sprain warranted plenty of betting opinions when odds opened last Sunday.

Kansas City initially opened -3. However, line movement crossed through zero, all the way to Bengals -2.5.

Three days from the AFC Championship Game and a trip to the Super Bowl, we have another dose of betting action hitting the spread.

Kansas City money rolled in early Thursday. Virtually every shop pegs the Chiefs as favorites, save for WynnBet, which is holding steady at a pick 'em.

The over/under, meanwhile, peaked at 48 early in the week and dropped as low as 46.5. It's back on the upswing, with a bulk of books adjusting to 47.5.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid listed no injuries Wednesday. Mahomes was a full participant in practice, perhaps triggering the influx of K.C. coin.

Bengals vs. Chiefs features two teams trending opposite directions over a recent, short sample.

Cincinnati's done nothing but cover over the last 10 (8-1-1 ATS), while Kansas City can't buy a win against the spread (2-7-1).

Joe Burrow has the edge over Mahomes, going 3-0 in his career. Burrow's also been a treasure trove against non-divisional opponents, winning 15 of 17 outright with a ridiculous 16-1 ATS mark.
