It's been a quiet week weather-wise in the NFL, but Monday night will be different.
With Denver visiting Oakland in a game that nobody except bettors (and probably not even many bettors) will be watching on TV, sharps have been watching the forecast.
Though Oakland typically doesn't feature inclement weather, there's a Christmas Eve storm a brewin'.
The game begins with more than a 70% chance of rain in addition to 15 mph winds.
Back on Thursday, when this forecast started to become a real possibility, steam struck on the under at 44.5, dropping the total to 43 and even 42.5 for a bit.
It has since settled back in at 43. Juice is trending toward the under today so I wouldn't be surprised if the number fell a little bit more.
If you're betting by halves, note that the first half of the game is going to have worse weather than the second. That goes for both rain and wind.
The game will start with winds closer to 16 mph and end around 13 mph, while chances of rain will go from about 70% to 40%.
This under is a fairly popular one with 44% of bets. Some steady cash has also come in on the under, as the money percentage is up closer to 60%.
