Saturday gives us an early Christmas present as we get to find a Bears vs Bills pick at Soldier Field.

While the Bears have been eliminated from playoff contention, this is a big game for the Bills, who could win the AFC East with a win.

Let's break down the matchup and find our pick, which targets one of Buffalo's key offensive players.

The Bills (11-3) have their playoff spot locked up, but a win in this game seals up the divisional title.

By now, we all know the Bills best strengths, but Josh Allen continues to lead them to new heights, with his dual-threat ability on display on a weekly basis. His receiving corps are exceptional with Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie all playing well, with talented rookie Khalil Shakir also excelling.

The running back room also has some talent with Devin Singletary as the lead back and James Cook and Nyheim Hines spelling him and offering a little more in the passing game, with Cook in particular starting to pop in the last few weeks.

The Bears aren't loaded with talent, which is hardly a surprise given that they're already eliminated from the postseason. That said, Justin Fields' breakout in the second half of this season has been a welcome development. It looks like they might finally have the franchise quarterback they've been needing for years.

While Fields has become Chicago's quarterback of the future, it needs to put weapons around him. The wideouts are poor at the best of times, but this week Fields will likely be without Chase Claypool (doubtful) and Equanimeous St. Brown (out). That means we'll see plenty of Dante Pettis, N'Keal Harry and Byron Pringle.

Fortunately, the Bears have both David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert available, with the two backs arguably one of the league's best one-two punches.

Betting Picks

With the divisional title on the line it is time for Buffalo's star players to stand up and be counted on — Stefon Diggs will do just that.

Diggs, a Pro-Bowler for the third consecutive season, is +135 to find the endzone and he is a must-bet. Through 14 games, he has 10 touchdowns to go with 1,299 yards.

Diggs hasn't scored since Week 13, but against the Bears, he has a great chance to get back on track as Chicago has given up 11 touchdowns to wide receivers this year. If this wasn't obviously a plus matchup already, it's also worth noting the Bears are 31st in overall defensive DVOA and 30th in pass defense DVOA.
