  • Monitoring fantasy football injuries ahead of lineup lock? We've got you covered with rankings and backup plans.

It was a busy week on the injury front. We've got some marquee fantasy football injuries to monitor leading up to kickoff, but don't worry — our rankers have you covered in the event any of the players listed below are ruled out.

With this article, we'll give a brief rundown of some of the players who are entering Sunday with a questionable tag, along with where our fantasy experts — Sean Koerner, Chris Raybon and Matthew Freedman — will have each player ranked if they're active. We'll also run through which players would benefit the most if the questionable players are ruled out and who you could pick up on waivers if you're in a pinch.

Here's a quick list of the six players we'll cover:

  • Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens
  • Le'Veon Bell, RB, New York Jets
  • David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears
  • Emmanuel Sanders, WR, San Francisco 49ers
  • Jordan Howard, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Damien Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Keep a close eye on our experts' real-time fantasy rankings, too, which will be continuously updated until kickoff.

Le'Veon Bell, RB, New York Jets

Bell was on the injury report this week with a rib injury and an illness. He was rested on Wednesday but got in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday.

There were no Instagram posts from Bell this week, but NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that Bell is expected to play today.

Fantasy Rankings If Bell Is Active:

  • Koerner: RB10
  • Raybon: RB8
  • Freedman: RB8

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking If Bell Is Inactive: Bilal Powell (Koerner RB33, Freedman RB 40, Raybon RB37)

Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

We're 11 weeks in and Brown has seemingly made this column all 11 weeks of the season…

Anyway, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Brown will play today against the Texans. It's good news for Lamar Jackson's outlook since Houston has one of the most burnable secondaries in the league.

David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears

Montgomery didn't practice on Thursday, but he got in a limited Friday after he rolled his ankle in practice on Wednesday, which isn't a great sign.

The Bears are calling Montgomery a game-time decision for their Sunday night matchup against the Rams after listing him as questionable.

Fantasy Rankings If Montgomery Is Active:

  • Koerner: RB23
  • Raybon: RB21

Jordan Howard, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Howard was limited in practice all week with a shoulder injury. It's not considered a long-term injury, but Schefter and Rapoport both reported that Howard isn't expected to play today against the Patriots.

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Howard Inactive: Jay Ajayi (Koerner RB52, Freedman RB38, Raybon RB40), Miles Sanders (Koerner RB16)
