Rams vs Eagles NFL Week 4 Preview

Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview: Revenge Game

The Rams are navigating a brutal early season travel gauntlet: Australia (Week 1) to Los Angeles (Week 2), then up to the Denver altitude (Week 3), and now flying across the country to the East Coast on a short week.

Normally that profile screams, "Fade!" — but this is the ultimate galvanizing spot for Sean McVay's squad.

The Rams had a win stolen from them in Denver on a phantom pass interference flag, and they are seeking major revenge for last year's horrific bad beat in Philly — a late blocked field goal scoop-and-score that arguably cost them the NFC 1-seed.

With Puka Nacua expected to play, McVay gets his primary engine back to run heavy 12-personnel sets and attack Philadelphia vertically.

Philadelphia Eagles Betting Preview: Offense Isn't the Only Issue

There is nothing to like about this Eagles team right now.

The offense looks completely broken under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. Their interior offensive line is a mess, leaving them unable to run block or protect the passer, while Jalen Hurts is dealing with a total lack of yards after the catch.

Without Dallas Goedert, they are reduced to relying on Zach Ertz at tight end.

Surprisingly, the defense is an equal liability: Vic Fangio's unit ranks dead last in time-to-pressure rate in the NFL, and they were just the fifth team in league history to start 2-0 with zero defensive takeaways.

Rams vs Eagles Prediction, Betting Analysis

I’ll lay the Rams -3. I cannot back Philadelphia in its current state.

The Eagles offense goes through massive scoring droughts — managing just seven points last week against a mediocre Bears defense — and their front seven is hardly generating any disruption.

The Rams will be hyper-focused after last week's frustrating loss, and McVay should be able to easily out-scheme Mannion to win by more than a field goal on the road.

Pick: Rams -3 (-115)
