Packers' Path to the NFC Championship

  • Wild Card Round: Bye week
  • Divisional Round: Win vs. No. 5 Seahawks

The Packers emerged from a crowded NFC bracket as the No. 2 seed, and after their bye, held off the Seahawks in the Divisional Round.

Now Aaron Rodgers & Co. are back in the NFC title game for the first time since the 2016 season, when their run was cut short by the Falcons. Now the Packers will look to take down the conference's top seed and make just their second Super Bowl appearance of the Rodgers era.

49ers' Path to the NFC Championship

  • Wild Card Round: Bye week
  • Divisional Round: Win vs. No. 6 Vikings

After a five-year stretch of missing the postseason, the 49ers locked in the NFC's 1-seed then cruised past Minnesota in the Divisional Round.

The Niners last made the conference title game in the 2013 season, their final appearance in a string of three straight under Jim Harbaugh. Now it's Kyle Shanahan and Jimmy Garoppolo's turn to prove their mettle on the big stage.

The Packers and 49ers met in Week 12 of the regular season, when San Francisco routed Green Bay at home, 37-8.
