49ers vs Giants Preview, Prediction
This game is an absolute injury minefield. Both defenses are beat up, and it’s hard to know exactly who will be on the field for either side.
For the Giants, the secondary is a major concern.
Head coach Brian Daboll stated he's not expecting to have Cor'Dale Flott for today's game, and Paulson Adebo and Art Green are both major question marks as well. That would leave the Giants with Deonte Banks and Korie Black at corners, which would not be good.
The Giants, of course, also lost a key offensive piece last week with Cam Skattebo suffering a major leg injury.
The good news for New York? The 49ers aren’t exactly healthy either.
Alfred Collins, Dee Winters, Bryce Huff, and Yetur Gross-Matos are all banged up for San Francisco, and they’ve already lost both Nick Bosa and Fred Wagner to injured reserve.
San Francisco is also having some issues up front on the offensive line, and the quarterback situation still remains unclear.
Brock Purdy is questionable, and if he can’t go, it will be Mac Jones under center for the Niners yet again.

The Giants can still rush the passer, and that might be enough to get the job done against the 49ers.
Jaxson Dart has played better than expected, and against a worn-down 49ers front, he should have enough time to make some plays.
There's a ton of potential variance in this matchup given all the uncertainty surrounding the injury reports.
Give me the Giants to pull off the upset as short home underdogs against the Niners.
