Chiefs vs Lions Lines, Spread for Week 1 Thursday Night Football

Chiefs vs. Lions lines have been on the move over the past 24 hours, ever since news that Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce hyperextended his knee during practice on Tuesday. The Chiefs were -6.5 before the injury, with the line now down to as low as Chiefs -5 at some books. The total has also come down from an over/under of 54.5 to 52.5.

Currently, the Chiefs are -5.5 at FanDuel, with the total at 52.5. Kansas City is -230 on the moneyline to win outright, with the Lions +190 to pull off the upset.

Thursday Night Football Expert Picks: Chiefs vs Lions

While we'll have more on Chiefs vs. Lions tomorrow, two of our experts have already tracked their spread picks for Thursday Night Football Week 1 in the Action Network app.

Both Chris Raybon and Sean Koerner are on the Lions to cover the spread, although they did track their bets at earlier odds that were better for Detroit bettors. Raybon bet the Lions at +7, and then doubled down when the line moved to Lions +6, while Koerner is also on the Lions +6.

On the player prop side, Prop Bomb is on the Lions' David Montgomery to go over his rushing total: "I expect at least 12-to-15 attempts for Montgomery in his debut, and I love his chances of surpassing his rushing yards prop due to an improved offensive line and the absence of his opponent's top defensive player."

Check back tomorrow for more Chiefs vs. Lions expert picks and player props on the updated odds, and make sure to follow your favorite experts in the Action Network app!
