"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years.

I've parlayed that success into a series of weekly recommendations of the top streaming options at those three positions, as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week — which can be of assistance in a pinch.

The concept behind streaming is that you add someone for a given week based on the matchup, rather than putting emphasis behind a player's long-term projection.

Note that these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.

Read on for my Week 13 streaming analysis.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett at ATL (11% rostered)

Pickett has had an up-and-down rookie season, but he's started to tap into his rushing upside on a more regular basis, topping 30 yards in three of the past four games.

That could potentially open things up for him in the passing game, where he has a ton of upside with Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Pat Friermuth at his disposal.

He’s yet to put it all together for a ceiling game yet, but it could be coming soon. This week, he has a plus matchup against the Falcons and opens the week as my QB15, which makes him the top-ranked quarterback available in 50%+ of leagues.

Raiders TE Foster Moreau vs. LAC (39%)

Moreau had a solid game last week — 3/33/1 — but his underlying usage has been elite. He ran a route on 90% of dropbacks in Week 12 and operated as Derek Carr’s No. 2 target.

He has a high floor/ceiling combo for a tight end who's widely available right now. He opens the week as my TE8.

Browns K Cade York at HOU (4%)

York has only made 74% of his field goals this season, but he has seven attempts of 50+ yards and has to deal with the elements in Cleveland. This week, he will be indoors in Houston and the Browns have a team total of 27.5, which means he should have plenty of scoring opportunities.

Browns DEF at HOU (10%)

We have been able to stream the top scoring defense in back-to-back weeks by simply targeting the Texans. I'm going back to the well this week and selecting Cleveland's defense.

While the Browns defense has been abysmal this year, they still have one of the better players in the game in Myles Garrett, who should be able to disrupt Kyle Allen enough to rack up some sacks and/or turnovers. They open the week as my No. 4 defense.
