Wide receiver Tyreek Hill threw a wrench in fantasy managers' plans for Week 6, popping up on the injury report with a quad issue. He only practiced Friday and is questionable for Sunday's tilt against Washington.

He's expected to play and comes in ranked WR2 in our consensus fantasy rankings.

Earlier this week, we looked at how Hill's potential injury could affect the Chiefs' top-ranked offense in Football Outsiders' DVOA going forward?

Fantasy Impact If Tyreek Hill Is Ruled Out

"If Hill is out, Hardman would become a boom-or-bust WR3 while Josh Gordon's also a boom-or-bust WR3/4," said The Action Network’s Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner.

"The only thing holding Gordon back is that he's still learning the playbook. We would need additional context on him if Hill is ruled out.

"What will ultimately decide my projection for Gordon is whether the news is that (1) he had a good week of practice and understands enough of the playbook to see a full complement of snaps, or (2) that he still isn't quite ready for more than 10-20 snaps, and we should expect Hardman, Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson to maintain their normal roles for Week 6.

"Unfortunately, we don't have that type of info as of writing, so be sure to check my updated rankings on Sunday morning."

Hill notched 63 yards on seven catches in last week's loss to the Bills.

Gordon, meanwhile, ran two routes in his debut, catching his lone target for 11 yards.

"Hill is the WR3 in half PPR through five weeks, so it goes without saying that his absence would be huge for fantasy," fellow fantasy analyst Samantha Previte noted in her Worry-O-Meter.

"I suspect Travis Kelce would see even more targets from Patrick Mahomes if Hill doesn't dress, but Mecole Hardman would be the biggest beneficiary and would have WR2 appeal in that scenario. Demarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle and Josh Gordon could also all be deep league or DFS dart throws against the Football Team’s leaky secondary."

Hill this year ranks seventh in the NFL in air yards share (42.5%), while his 10 deep targets are tied for third.

Kansas City's favored by a touchdown Sunday, with a total of 54.
