Carolina Hurricanes Betting Preview

The Carolina Hurricanes have won two straight games and are one victory away from capturing the Stanley Cup. A key turning point in the series came when Carolina turned to backup goaltender Brandon Bussi.

After Frederik Andersen allowed four goals on 16 shots in Game 3, Bussi entered in relief and performed well. He stopped 18 of 19 shots for a .947 save percentage.

Although Carolina lost that game, Bussi took over as the starter and has won each of the past two games. Over those three appearances, he has posted a .908 save percentage and a 2.18 goals-against average.

Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights have confirmed that Carter Hart will start again on Sunday. He has struggled against Carolina’s offense, allowing four goals in each of the first five games.

Hart is 2-3 with a .856 save percentage and a 3.70 goals-against average during that stretch.

The Golden Knights remain competitive across all three zones, but the underlying metrics favor Carolina.

In the playoffs, the Hurricanes rank ahead of Vegas in expected goals for per 60 minutes (xGF/60), expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60) and expected goal share.

Hurricanes vs. Golden Knights Prediction

With advantages in offense, defense and goaltending, Carolina is the stronger side in Game 6 and is likely to close out the series.

Home ice remains an advantage for Vegas, but the Hurricanes won 5-3 in the most recent game at T-Mobile Arena.

In addition, the Golden Knights are dealing with injuries and are expected to be without forward William Karlsson for the remainder of the series after he left Game 5 with an arm injury. His absence will impact both penalty killing and offensive efficiency.

Pick: Hurricanes Moneyline (-115 | Play to -120)
