WNBA Rookie of the Year odds gain more attention each season, and no longer just from sportsbooks. As is the case with many other leagues and sports, prediction markets are involved as well.

With the season tipping off Friday, there’s a developing favorite in Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles, along with some notable pursuers in Kalshi’s WNBA Rookie of the Year Award prediction market.

Olivia Miles

Olivia Miles transferred from Notre Dame to TCU for the 2025-26 women’s college basketball season. She then helped the Horned Frogs win a second straight Big 12 title and reach the Elite 8 for a second consecutive season.

Miles averaged 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for TCU, while shooting 48.1% from the floor and 35.1% from 3-point range.

All that had her in the conversation to be selected No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft. UConn’s Azzi Fudd — more on her in a moment — instead was the top pick, going to the Dallas Wings.

Miles went No. 2 overall to the Lynx, but she’s No. 1 at Kalshi in 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year trading.

As of 1 p.m. ET Thursday, Miles is the favorite at 34%, which translates to odds of +194.

The Next Tier

Center Lauren Betts just led UCLA to its first Women’s NCAA Tournament title, with the Bruins blowing out South Carolina 79-51 in the championship game.

Betts averaged 18.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game. She was then drafted fourth overall by the Washington Mystics.

Kalshi has Betts at 22% (+355), No. 2 in WNBA Rookie of the Year trading.

That’s just ahead of the third choice, Fudd, who’s at 21% (+376). Fudd, a shooting guard, averaged 17.3 points and 3.6 assists per game last season while helping UConn reach the Final Four.

Fudd shot a stout 44.7% from 3-point range, surely part of the reason why the Wings chose her No. 1 overall.

Then comes Flau’jae Johnson at 12% (+733), drafted eighth overall by the Golden State Valkyries. Johnson, another shooting guard, averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists last season for LSU, which reached the Sweet 16.

Beyond Johnson, Kalshi has a handful of players trading at 7% or less in the WNBA Rookie of the Year prediction market. Additionally, prediction market users are trading on the WNBA Coach of the Year Award. And, of course, there are also numerous ways to predict the WNBA MVP and champion.
