Sunderland vs. West Ham United
In its last outing, West Ham ended their 10-game winless run with a 2-1 victory over Spurs, even though it did not close the gap on those above it in the table, with Leeds' win and Nottingham Forest’s draw with Arsenal.
The first-half performance against Tottenham was arguably the best 45 minutes West Ham has delivered under Nuno Espírito Santo. However, the Hammers have not kept a clean sheet in their last 19 Premier League games.
With 33 points, Sunderland is practically safe from relegation and continues to enjoy an impressive home form. Nevertheless, they remain winless in their last six away fixtures (D3 L3). Sunderland may be one of the best Premier League sides at the moment, but with West Ham's newfound momentum, backing both sides to find the net seems a reasonable bet.
Pick: Both Teams To Score – Yes
Tottenham vs. Burnley
Burnley head into this matchday 18 eight points from safety. Scott Parker’s side showed spirit as they earned a 1-1 draw at Anfield in their last game, but they need to start picking up three points at Turf Moor.
Parker’s team comes into this clash having conceded in its last 10 Premier League games, and with Burnley’s attacking output improving, we should see chances at both ends. Both Teams To Score – Yes has won in four of Burnley’s last five competitive matches, with those matches averaging 3.6 goals per game.
Tottenham was in excellent form on the road at the start of the season. However, their recent slump has increased pressure on Thomas Frank, and their defensive frailties have been a key factor in their poor results. Tottenham have now conceded in five of their last seven league outings, with both teams scoring in the last three.
Pick: Both Teams To Score – Yes
Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Fulham
Fulham's 1-0 defeat at Leeds ended its six-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, which had seen it match the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea. Before last weekend, only league leaders Arsenal (with 16 points) had collected more points than the Cottagers (14) since the run began on 13 December.
In contrast, Brighton is not in great form, having won just one of their last nine league matches (D5 L3). This run has seen them plummet from 5th to 12th in the table, although Fabian Hürzeler's side showed improvement in the second half against Bournemouth, earning a 91st-minute draw.
Brighton do not have a strong history in this fixture, having won just one of their 11 Premier League games against Fulham (D5 L5), their lowest win rate against any side they’ve faced more than twice (9%). Betting on a draw could be a wise choice, as this outcome has occurred in four of Brighton's last six matches and two of Fulham’s last four.
Pick: Draw
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Manchester City
Manchester City has started games quickly in the Premier League this season. City is averaging 1.05 first-half goals in the league this season, 0.23 more than Bournemouth, which ranks second in this regard. The Citizens are also conceding just 0.27 first-half goals.
Pep Guardiola’s side has scored a first-half goal in their last seven league matches at the Etihad ahead of the Wolves clash. City have stopped the opposition from scoring before the break in the last six of those matches.
Incredibly, Wolves has scored just one first-half goal across its 11 Premier League away matches this season. The Old Gold has been behind at the break in five of those matches, but Manchester City’s desire to make a fast start, coupled with its array of attacking talent, means that the visitors are likely to fall behind here.
Pick: Man City 1st Half Moneyline
Liverpool vs. AFC Bournemouth
Andoni Itaola’s side has just one win in their last 14 Premier League matches. However, Bournemouth has been something of a draw specialist in that time, with seven of those matches ending all square. In fact, the Cherries have drawn six of their last nine league games.
Liverpool has also drawn plenty of matches. Since the start of December, Arne Slot’s side has played nine Premier League games, drawing six and winning two. Two of those wins were by a one-goal margin, and we should see another closely-contested fixture here.
In 2026, Liverpool has drawn all four of its league games, the last of which was against Burnley at Anfield.
