2022 Wimbledon Odds, Futures Prices & Preview: Novak Djokovic Opens as Heavy Favorite

The short grass-court season has arrived, which means Wimbledon is rapidly approaching, and it's no surprise to see one man listed at the top of the odds list.

Novak Djokovic is listed as a -115 betting favorite at BetMGM to secure his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title.

The man who has already won two Slam titles on the season, Rafael Nadal, is not the second-favorite for the event. While Nadal sits at +600, Carlos Alcaraz is +450 as he seeks out his first Grand Slam title.

If Nadal was assured to be healthy and playing Wimbledon, he'd likely be the second-favorite for the event, but after undergoing yet another procedure on his foot, the Spaniard is questionable to participate at Wimbledon.

With Russian and Belarusian players banned from the event, Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev will not be playing. That leaves Matteo Berrettini (+800), Felix Auger-Aliassime (+1000) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (+1000) as the next up in line.

A notable player not listed by the oddsmakers is Roger Federer, who will miss the event for the first time in his career as he continues to recover from another knee surgery.

Last year, Federer played a shortened season but reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon before losing in emphatic fashion to Hubert Hurkacz.
