Update: Patterson is active for Sunday's game.

The Atlanta Falcons hope top playmaker Cordarrelle Patterson can return Sunday following two weeks off, but he'll be a game-time decision against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

If Patterson can't play, Mike Davis is expected to get the bulk of the carries for the Falcons.

Patterson leads the team with 303 rushing yards, which mostly shows how putrid the running game has been for Atlanta this season. However, he's also the team's second-leading receiver with 473 yards on the year.

In total, Patterson averages more than 86 yards per game from scrimmage.

Davis actually leads the team with 91 carries to Patterson's 77, but is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry with one touchdown. Patterson has five touchdowns through the air and two on the ground.

If Patterson doesn't play, the starting opportunity alone will make some look in the direction of Davis when scrambling for last-minute fantasy football lineup decisions.

For those, we turn to The Action Network's consensus fantasy football rankings compiled by Sean Koerner and Chris Raybon.
