Braves vs Rockies Predictions, Parlay Picks
I’m directly fading Colorado right-handed starting pitcher Chase Dollander against Atlanta on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old has been horrendous in his rookie season, posting a 7.91 ERA across his first 19 innings. He’s already allowed 13 runs across his first nine innings in Denver, including six home runs.
Therefore, I’m backing two Braves bats to hit a homer in this 18-to-1 parlay.
Let’s start with first baseman Matt Olson. He’s been an excellent hitter throughout his career, and he’s always been solid against right-handed pitching — he already has four homers against that side on the year.
Meanwhile, catcher Sean Murphy is off to a hot start, posting a .990 OPS through his first 70 plate appearances. He’s already hit seven home runs behind a career-high barrel rate (19%), and I’m willing to bank on him cranking another one on Wednesday at mile-high altitude.
This is a fun light sprinkle parlay on two big bats against a struggling pitcher in a hitter-friendly ballpark.
