Right-hander Tanner Bibee takes the mound for the Cleveland Guardians and should serve as a good fade candidate. Entering this matchup, Bibee ranks in the bottom half of the league in xERA, xBA, average exit velocity and barrel rate.
He also struggles in the strikeout department, ranking in the bottom half of the league in chase rate, whiff rate and strikeout rate. Subsequently, Bibee has recorded two or fewer strikeouts in two of his past three starts.
In 172 combined plate appearances against Bibee, this current Kansas City Royals own a mere 18.6 strikeout rate and 20.3 whiff rate.

Cardinals vs Brewers Player Prop
The St. Louis Cardinals' Jordan Walker has been one of the best power hitters in baseball this year. Entering this matchup, Walker owns a .471 slugging percentage, a .800 OPS and has mashed 29 home runs.
His analytics suggest that a strong end to the campaign is likely.
This season, Walker ranks in the 83rd percentile in xSLG, 95th percentile in average exit velocity, 90th percentile in barrel rate and 91st percentile in hard-hit rate.
Meanwhile, right-hander Dustin May gets the ball for the Milwaukee Brewers. Through 30 starts this year, May is 7-9 with a 4.67 ERA and 1.32 WHIP.
He also ranks in the bottom third of the league in xERA, xBA, average exit velocity and hard-hit rate.

Angels vs Mariners Player Prop
Right-hander Ryan Johnson takes the mound for the Los Angeles Angels. Through 21 appearances this year, Johnson is 5-9 with a 4.93 ERA and 1.35 WHIP.
His underlying metrics are equally poor. This season, Johnson ranks in the bottom third of the league in xERA, xBA and barrel rate.
If anyone on the Seattle Mariners is to take advantage of this matchup, it is likely to be Randy Arozarena. He has been fantastic this year, posting a .280 batting average, .482 slugging percentage and .862 OPS.
In six plate appearances against Johnson, Arozarena has posted a .400 slugging percentage and .417 wOBA.
