Orioles, Twins Picks & Best Bet: The Byron Buxton Bet to Make
By Chris Prince
I absolutely love this spot for Byron Buxton and the Twins tonight against Baltimore left-hander Cade Povich.
Buxton has always hit left-handed pitching well, and he's off to a torrid pace to start this season, amassing a .467 wOBA to go along with a huge .364 ISO. He can easily smash this prop with one swing of the bat.
He has racked up five multi-hit games over his last nine and has covered this six times over that span.
Povich has really struggled with righties, allowing a .443 wOBA, a .269 ISO and a 56% hard contact rate this season. He carries an ugly 6.07 ERA and 1.69 WHIP into tonight.
I'm backing Buxton to go over his total bases prop tonight.
