Rockies vs Braves
The spot here is a far too good one to pass up for Drake Baldwin.
Sugano has been one of the best matchups in the league for lefty power this season, giving up a massive 2.57 HR/9.
The weather is above average for hitting with temps in the mid 80s and high humidity.
I have the true odds on Baldwin around +300, making this a great EV bet.
Pick: Drake Baldwin Home Run (+350)
Rangers vs Brewers
The spot here is an average one, making the odds here far too high.
Henderson has been great this season and while he's been great vs. righties overall, he's struggled with power, allowing a 1.19 HR/9 to go along with a 46.4% fly ball rate.
Jake Burger is a well above average power bat and I have the true odds around +440, making this a great EV bet.
Pick: Jake Burger Home Run (+500)
White Sox vs Twins
I love the spot for Miguel Vargas today and the odds are far too high.
Kremer has been a complete gas can for power this season, allowing a massive 2.16 HR/9 to righties. Although he's due for some positive regression, he grades out as a plus matchup for righty power.
The weather is above average for hitting and I have the true odds on Vargas around +400, making this a great EV bet.
Pick: Miguel Vargas Home Run (+450)
Pirates vs Cardinals
The spot here for Jordan Walker is actually a plus-one, making this far too high of a line.
Jones is a good pitcher, but he's struggled heavily with righty power this season, allowing a large 1.69 HR/9 to go along with a heavy 50% fly ball rate.
The ballpark isn't great for power, but the odds more than make up for it.
I have the true odds on Walker around +530, making this a great EV bet.
Pick: Jordan Walker Home Run (+600)
Orioles vs Athletics
The spot here is a plus one and the odds are a bit too high on Zack Gelof.
Young has been a plus matchup for righty power this season, allowing a 1.48 HR/9 and although he's due for some positive regression, he grades out as a plus matchup for righty power.
The ballpark is one of the best in the league for power and I have the true odds on Gelof around +450, making this a good EV bet.
