The "Silent Sharp Unders" system, which has generated a 9% ROI lifetime (1257-990-87), targets regular-season MLB games in which both teams are performing well, yet the total has quietly dropped from open to close.

These are games featuring competent, winning teams with recent success, stable weather conditions and closing totals in a common scoring range. Despite both teams showing strength, the market subtly favors the under — likely due to matchup specifics or the starting pitching. By following this soft signal — when the public eye is more focused on win streaks and not totals — this system finds value in betting against inflated scoring expectations.

This season, this system is 124-89-3 (58%), which has resulted in a 10% ROI.

Dead President Picks' Yankees vs Blue Jays Best Bet: Yankees Will Bounce Back

The Yankees dropped game one of this series, 4-1, on Monday night and that loss places New York four games behind the Blue Jays in the AL East.

Toronto's four-game lead is its largest of the season, but tonight I like the Yankees to bounce back as they'll send one of the best young arms in baseball to the mound.

Walpole, Massachusetts native Cam Schlittler will toe the rubber for the Yankees. Schlitter was solid in his first start of the year as he allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings against the Seattle Mariners on July 9th. I expect another solid performance from the 24-year-old tonight.

Toronto will send veteran Max Scherzer to the bump. The future Hall of Famer has struggled this season and has a 4.70 ERA.

The Yankees' offense will be able to give Schlitter enough early run support and roll to a much-needed win tonight.

Pick: Yankees Moneyline (+105)

This system identifies value when facing elite starting pitchers. It targets games where the opposing starter has a strong ERA (0 to 2.25), which may inflate their perceived edge. However, by backing teams with a slightly positive season-long margin (ATS margin avg 0.17 to 0.57), the system finds clubs that consistently exceed expectations. Combined with a moneyline filter (-385 to -175), it focuses on favored teams who may be underpriced due to public fear of the opposing pitcher. The edge lies in fading that fear while still backing solid teams.

This system has cashed 71% of its picks and generated a 4% ROI lifetime (128-53-0), but is running hot this season with a 12% ROI (6-2).
