  • Doug Ziefel has three selections for today's MLB games, including two night games.
  • He's targeting two pitchers for NL West squads.
  • Here's why he's taking these specific props from Saturday's MLB schedule.

We have another glorious Saturday slate of MLB action on tap.

With every team in action today, there's a boatload of player props to sort through. But I've got you covered, as here you'll find my top three player props of the day.

So, let's get rolling and dive into who we're betting and how we're betting them this Saturday.

MLB Player Props For Saturday, April 15th

Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases +105

Angels vs. Red Sox

Best Linebet365

We're kicking off our selections by backing one of the best players on the planet, Shohei Ohtani.

Ohtani has gotten off to a tremendous start at the plate and is in a great spot to add to his numbers this afternoon.

He'll likely get at least two at-bats against Nick Pivetta, who's in line for some sizable regression. Pivetta's counting stats through two starts look fantastic, but a closer look reveals that he's been extremely fortunate thus far.

Pivetta enters this start in the bottom five percent of the league in average exit velocity allowed and hard-hit and barrel rates.

Pair that with Ohtani, who ranks in the top 15 percent of all major league hitters in those same categories, and you have yourself a recipe for some loud contact.

Ohtani also has already hit Pivetta hard in the few times they have squared off. In six at-bats, Ohtani has two homers and a double, with an average exit velocity of 100.4 mph.

At plus money, you can't pass up one of the best hitter matchups on the slate.

Pick: Over 1.5 Total Bases

Michael Grove Under 16.5 Pitching Outs -110

Cubs vs. Dodgers
First Pitch9:10 pm ET
Best LineDraftKings

Michael Grove has been a starter throughout his professional career. However, he has spent the entirety of it in the Dodgers' organization.

The Dodgers have become very analytically driven and were one of the first teams not to let starters face an order three times in a game.

They have held firmly to that belief with Grove.

Grove has yet to see a sixth inning in his big league career. He has recorded less than 16 outs in eight of his major league starts, and that sticks with the trend we saw in the minors, as he averaged just three innings per start before being called up.

Tonight, he'll face a Cubs lineup that has proven to be very potent and is capable of doing damage at any moment.

With the number of threats in this lineup, it's highly probable that Grove doesn't go deep into this one.

Pick: Under 16.5 Pitching Outs

Ryan Feltner Under 5.5 Strikeouts -135

Rockies vs. Mariners
First Pitch9:40 pm ET
Best Linebet365

Ryan Feltner hasn't proven to be a strikeout artist at the big-league level. He's never recorded more than seven strikeouts in any start, and the large majority of his strikeout totals have been under this number.

Feltner has struck out five batters or less in 68.2% of his outings. That gives us implied odds of -214 that he'll go under again tonight, and that's before you factor in the matchup.

Feltner will have to navigate a talented Seattle Mariners lineup.

Now, the Mariners do have multiple guys that will strike out, but those same guys are also capable of doing damage. Feltner will need to tread lightly against them.

Pick: Under 5.5 Strikeouts
