BlackJack’s Favorite Fourth of July MLB Bet: Are the A’s Overmatched vs. Twins?

Today we have a ton of day baseball as we celebrate the birth of our great nation. One game in particular has my piqued interest more intently than the others: the Minnesota Twins visiting the Oakland Athletics.
Let's dive in.
Betting odds: Minnesota Twins at Oakland Athletics
Probable starters: Jose Berrios (8.4, 2.89 ERA) vs. Tanner Anderson (0-3, 7.13 ERA)
- Twins odds: -138
- Athletics odds: +128
- Over/under: 9.5
- First pitch: 4:07 p.m. ET
This is a matchup that's heavily tilted in the Twins' favor.
It starts on the mound, where Jose Berrios and his 8-4 record and 2.89 ERA should have a significant advantage against A's rookie Tanner Anderson (0-3 record and 7.13 ERA).
Additionally, Anderson is a fly-ball pitcher. That's not a great matchup against this Twins lineup, which is the best home-run hitting offense in baseball. The weather will be in their favor today, too: The wind is forecasted to be blowing out at 9 mph.
That combination could mean another ugly outing is coming for the young Anderson. His last time out, he allowed seven earned runs in just 2.2 innings vs. the Angels.
The line on this game is short enough that I'm comfortable rolling with the Twins to get the W in Oakland.
