Updated NASCAR iRacing at Talladega Odds: William Byron Favored, Plus Jeff Gordon’s Odds in Retirement Return

Well, well, well! NASCAR legend and four-time Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon will be coming out of retirement and returning to the racetrack — albeit a virtual one — for today's iRacing Pro Invitational Series Geico 70 (1 p.m. ET on FOX, FS1 and FOX Sports app) at Talladega Superspeedway.

Gordon, who hasn't made a NASCAR national series start since the Goody's Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Oct. 30, 2016, currently covers the sport as television broadcaster for FOX Sports.

In what will be his NASCAR iRacing debut, Gordon is listed at 33-1 to win the Geico 70 at Talladega at DraftKings Sportsbook.

NASCAR iRacing at Talladega Odds, Betting Notes

William Byron has won the past two NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series races along with leading nearly 60% of all laps led this season, so it's no surprise to see him as the overwhelming favorite at +200.

Timmy Hill, who won at Texas and has yet to finish outside of the top three, is next at +700.

Outside of the two favorites, Denny Hamlin (+1000) is notable as the only other driver to win a NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series race. Hamlin won the season-opening event at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Hamlin is joined by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch at 10-1.
