DraftKings just released opening outright odds for this weekend's M&M's Fan Appreciation 400 at Pocono Raceway (3:00 p.m. ET, USA), and there's one driver I'm immediately betting.

Without any further fluff, here's the driver I like, and why.

NASCAR at Pocono Pick

Bubba Wallace immediately stands out as a bet at 40-1 odds at DraftKings.

Prior to this year with the new Next Gen car, Wallace had only eight top-10 finishes at non-drafting tracks.

Three of those came at the 2.5-mile flat tracks of Pocono and Indianapolis, including two while in inferior Richard Petty Motorsports equipment.

In fact, his only two non-drafting top-five finishes prior to this year came at Pocono and Indy.

Certainly he wasn't a winning car in any of those races, but his average driver rating of 86.3 is very respectable. He was even inside the top five in green flag speed at the 2019 Indianapolis race, where he finished fifth.

Again, this was all prior to his significant speed improvement this year in the Next Gen car.

In addition, Cody Goggin has noted that New Hampshire (Loudon) correlates strongly with Pocono.

Well, Bubba just took home a third place finish at New Hampshire this past weekend.

Hop on board the Wallace train at his best non-drafting track type, and while he's performing well at other correlated tracks.

Pick: Bubba Wallace to win +4000 | Bet to: +2500
