The Brooklyn Nets (12-32) and Phoenix Suns (27-19) will face off in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 9:00 p.m. ET from the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The game will broadcast live on YES.

The Suns are 8.5-point favorites over the Nets on the spread (Suns -8.5), with the over/under set at 212.5 total points. Phoenix is a 76-cent favorite to win outright, while Brooklyn is priced at 25 cents to pull off the upset on Fanatics Markets.

Let's get into my Nets vs. Suns predictions and NBA picks for Tuesday, January 27.

Nets vs Suns NBA Preview

The Suns have struggled in their last two games, but both were bad spots for Phoenix.

The most recent loss came in their first game back home after a six-game East Coast road trip, and those spots are always tough.

If you zoom out a bit, though, you'll see the Suns are 6-4 straight up over their last 10 games.

Zoom out even further, and you'll find that they're the No. 1 cover team in the NBA.

A whopping 67% ATS for Phoenix, with most of that damage coming as a home favorite, where they're 9-3 ATS.

Phoenix is just 1-4 straight up without Devin Booker, but that stat is a little misleading when you consider those losses came against Houston, Detroit, Oklahoma City, and Miami.

Nets vs Suns Prediction, Betting Analysis

The Nets are starting to enter tank mode, and when they lose, it's going to get ugly more often as we head toward the All-Star break.

I'll lay it with the Suns early, because I only see this number moving like Harry Styles — in one direction. I'll see myself out.

Pick: Suns -8.5
