Grizzlies vs Kings NBA Preview
These are two teams who will look very different after the trade deadline, and that might even be the case between the time you read this and when tipoff gets here.
The Grizzlies pulled off a stunning trade yesterday, sending a package headlined by Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Jazz in a deal that saw three first-round picks coming back to Memphis.
As a result, the injury report is a mess for Memphis today.
The Grizzlies will be without Taylor Hendricks, Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, and Georges Niang as a result of the trade. None of the four are expected to debut Wednesday, as of this morning.
Ja Morant (elbow, possibly being traded) is also out, as is Zach Edey (ankle), and Brandon Clarke (calf). Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) is doubtful and Santi Aldama (knee) is questionable.
For the Kings, for now, it's simpler. Domantas Sabonis (back) is questionable and Keegan Murray (ankle) remains out.
