Heat vs Hawks NBA Preview

In two matchups this season, these teams have split.

The Heat won 126-111 in Atlanta the day after Christmas but, similarly, lost 127-115 to Atlanta just 17 days ago in Miami.

The Heat didn't play last night, so this will be the first we'll see of them post All-Star.

The Hawks, meanwhile, are coming off a nice win in Philly, whom they defeated 117-107.

We're expecting a slightly different look tonight from Miami, as Tyler Herro — who has played fewer games than the retired Chris Paul this season — is expected to make his 12th appearance of the year, as he is listed as probable (ribs).

All-Star Norman Powell (back) and slam dunk contest champion Keshad Johnson (calf) are both questionable to play, while Terry Rozier (leave) is still out and probably won't play this season.

For Atlanta, Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is out.

Heat vs Hawks Predictions, Betting Analysis

Jalen Johnson had 11 rebounds against the Heat the last time these two faced off, and exactly 10 earlier this season.

He's gone over 10.5 boards in 10 of 14 games — and Miami is still small, even at closer to full strength.

Pick: Jalen Johnson Over 10.5 Rebounds (-120)
