Lakers vs. Heat
Action PRO is projecting 9.2 rebounds for Deandre Ayton in the Lakers' matchup against the Heat tonight, providing a solid 13.5% edge against his current prop line of over/under 8.5, which is strong enough to tag the Over with a B+ grade in our database.
Ayton only grabbed a total of four rebounds in 34 minutes of action is his latest outing against the Rockets.
However, prior to his latest outing, Ayton recorded 9+ rebounds in four straight games, while reaching 10+ rebounds in three of those contests; and recording a double-double in two of them.
We will go ahead and lock in our best bet at Over 8.5 Rebounds — but we also see value in sprinkling Ayton to Record a Double-Double at +275 as well.
Pick: Deandre Ayton Over 8.5 Rebounds (+115)
Bucks vs. Jazz
Ryan Rollins has seen a 4% assist rate bump with Giannis Antetokounmpo off the floor this season. He's averaged 5.9 assists in 30 games without Antetokounmpo.
Utah has allowed the most assists per game and the highest assisted field goal rate.
Kevin Porter Jr. is questionable tonight.
Rollins' assist rate jumps by nearly 10% with Antetokounmpo and Porter off the floor.
We don't need KPJ to get ruled out, but it would be a nice bump.
Pick: Ryan Rollins Over 5.5 Assists (-140)
76ers vs. Kings
Adem Bona played just 15 minutes on Tuesday against Denver. He played four minutes to begin the second half and then never got back in the game.
It would be easy to chalk that up to the lopsided score if it wasn't the second straight time it has happened.
Bona saw only 13 minutes on Sunday against Portland. He was in there for three minutes to open the second half, and then Andre Drummond basically played the rest of the game.
While we can't expect 20 second-half minutes from Drummond every game, it's clear there's a low floor for Bona.
Even if Bona lands on the right side of playing-time variance, he could still fail. He's a low-usage player with poor rebound conversion numbers.
Plus, Trendon Watford, Jabari Walker, and Dominick Barlow are all available to take center minutes.
