Thunder vs Pistons NBA Preview

NBA Finals preview? We'll see who shows up, but we know the Pistons will treat it as such.

The Pistons were last seen losing 114-103 to the Spurs in a nationally televised NBC game on a thin slate.

However, Detroit draws a potential bounce-back spot here against the Thunder, who are on the second leg of a back-to-back, having beaten the Raptors by a score of 116-107 last night.

The Pistons are 9-4 against the spread after a loss this season, which is the second-best mark in the league in that department — and Oklahoma City is a league-worst 1-8 against the spread on no rest.

Isaiah Stewart (suspension) remains out for Detroit.

For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) remains out, as does Jalen Williams (hamstring), Ajay Mitchell (abdomen) and Thomas Sorber (ACL).

Keep your eye out for the Oklahoma City's injury report though, given the back-to-back spot.

Thunder vs Pistons Predictions, Betting Analysis

Because of the Thunder's injury report, where Chet Holmgren and or Isaiah Hartenstein could appear, I like Jalen Duren over 27.5 points + rebounds in tonight's matchup for the Pistons.

Since returning from suspension after the All-Star break, he had 26 and 13 against the Bulls and 25 and 14 against the Spurs.

The Thunder allow the ninth-most rebounds and third-most offensive boards per 100 possessions this season, which may come as a surprise to some.

Duren is third in the NBA in offensive rebound percentage.

Pick: Jalen Duren Over 27.5 Points & Rebounds (-121)
