The 2026 SWAC Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off Monday at 2 p.m. ET (ESPN+) with Alcorn State facing off against Alabama State.

The latest college basketball odds have Alabama State as a 6.5-point favorite against Alcorn State, with today's over/under at 142.5.

Both programs enter the postseason after navigating rigorous conference schedules that left them tied in the standings with identical 7-11 league records.

Alabama State earned the 10-seed via tiebreaker and will look to replicate the success it found during the regular season when it defeated the Braves in a January matchup.

Asjon Anderson leads the offensive charge for the Hornets, averaging 14.5 points per game while providing a reliable deep-threat capability.

The Braves counter with Tycen McDaniels, who anchors the roster by averaging nearly 12 points and leading the team in rebounding.

When it comes to the wiseguys, there doesn't appear to be much value in Monday's spread.

The over/under, however, is a completely different story.
