Selection Sunday is just one week away, meaning teams have to take advantage of every opportunity to make their case for an NCAA Tournament bid.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers appear to be safe at the moment and are penciled in as a 9-seed by on Joe Lunardi's latest Bracketology for ESPN.com.

However, a loss on Sunday against the Michigan Wolverines, who have just eight wins on this season thus far, would clearly be a bad look for Nebraska in the eyes of the tournament committee.

Nebraska easily handled Michigan earlier this season, winning their lone matchup, 79-59, last month.

From a betting standpoint, Nebraska is a six-point favorite against Michigan based on live college basketball odds, and the Action Network's College Basketball PRO Projections suggest that number is two points off where it should be.

As mentioned above, Nebraska sits at -6.5 for Sunday's matinee.
