  • Sharp action has hit Saturday's massive college hoops slate on a few games in particular, including Nevada-Utah State.
  • Betting market percentages and Sports Insights' Bet Signals help reveal the bets wiseguys are making.

With every Saturday this time of year comes a college hoops slate of games in the triple digits. And with a triple-digit total, you can bet that sharps will have an opinion on at least a few matchups.

This morning they've been hitting three games in particular, capped off and highlighted by Nevada-Utah State at 8:30 p.m. ET (CBS Sports).

Let's take a look.

Kansas @ Oklahoma State

12 p.m. ET | CBS

Sharp angles: Under (moved from 140.5 to 139.5), Oklahoma State (moved from +7 to +6.5)

Overs are generally popular bets in any sport. No one wants to root against points, so public bettors tend to flock to overs when betting totals. This one, however, has bets split down the middle.

Despite the balanced action, this total has actually fallen a point from its opening number. With no other factors in play, that should probably hint at professional action landing on the under.

Sports Insights' Bet Signals — triggered whenever there's a market-wide line change that's caused by sharp action — have revealed two moves on this under, one at the opening total, and another at 140, landing oddsmakers on the current number.

And while we've yet to track a Bet Signal on the side of this matchup, the market percentages point to a heavy dose of smart money taking the points.

Only 20% of bettors have put their money behind the Pokes, but they've put a lot of money behind them. In fact, they've accounted for 63% of actual dollars being wagered on the matchup.

With sharper bettors being likelier to bet more than an Average Joe, that discrepancy indicates professional action on Oklahoma State and has caused this line to fall away from the popular side.

Pittsburgh @ Virginia

2 p.m. ET | ESPN CE

Sharp angle: Pittsburgh (moved from +20 to +18)

Another day, another UVA line falling. Despite Virginia being one of the best teams against the spread this season, sharp bettors are stubborn in their case that conference opponents have some value against the Hoos.

In the Cavs' 15 conference games this season, 11 have seen the line move away from them. Only two have moved toward them.

Today's game should turn that 11 into a 12, as Virginia has fallen two points from its opener despite attracting 67% of bets. As was the case with Oklahoma State, the Pittsburgh backers have been far more generous with their spending.

The 33% of bettors on the Panthers have generated an impressive 71% of actual money being wagered, once again indicating bigger, sharper wagers on Pitt.

Nevada @ Utah State

8:30 p.m. ET | CBS Sports

Sharp angle: Utah State (moved from +1.5 to pk)

Don't let the Mountain West names fool you: This is pushing to be one of the best games of the night and perhaps might be the most important.

Of course, none of that means that sharps will necessarily find any value on it, but in this case they have, and I certainly won't complain.

Nevada enters tonight ranked No. 12 in the nation, which helps explain its 55% backing, especially considering the short opening spread. But unranked Utah State — winners of its last five games — is just a half-game back in the conference standings at 13-3.

Despite Nevada's majority backing, the opening spread is nonexistent at this point. The consensus line across the market now sits at a pick'em thanks to sharp action on the home team.

As is the case with both Oklahoma State and Pitt, Utah State has received big wagers from its backers. The 45% behind the Aggies has accounted for 67% of actual money, which points to sharper bettors siding with the home team.
