The women's NCAA Tournament is going to be absolutely epic, and the hype has already started.

On Saturday evening, No. 1 South Carolina stayed undefeated and knocked off No. 5 Tennessee in the SEC Tournament on an extraordinarily unlikely 3-pointer as time expired.

What made that buzzer beater so unlikely, you might ask? Well, South Carolina's Kamilla Cardoso had never made a 3-pointer in her entire four-year college career. Not one. In fact, before Saturday night, Cardoso had only ever ATTEMPTED a single 3, which came during her freshman year with Syracuse.

All it took, apparently, was a little bit of encouragement from South Carolina coach Dawn Staley, who said after the game that she had a simple message for Cardoso: "Kamilla, shoot that 'blankety blank.'"

Not that Saley could blame Tennessee for how they played off of Cardoso:

For those wondering about the Vols guarding Kamilla, here's the longer clip from Dawn Staley – "I saw how far they were playing off of her. I would have played off of her as well" pic.twitter.com/sY2uYuIWsN

South Carolina was a 16.5-point favorite against Tennessee, as Staley's squad rolls into the SEC final.

That might seem like a massive point spread for a semifinal conference tournament game, but keep in mind that South Carolina is a -125 odds-on favorite to win the women's national title at FanDuel Sportsbook.
