The USC Trojans admittedly haven't won much in recent memory. However, the arrival of wide receiver Jordan Addison has the betting market's attention.

Addison, the reigning Fred Biletnikoff Award winner who entered the portal from Pittsburgh, officially announced his commitment to first-year head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans on Thursday.

Shortly after, DraftKings, moved USC from +4000 to +3000 to win the 2023 college football national title.

Caesars and PointsBet went as far as +2500, while the best price at the time of this writing (+4000) is at FanDuel. You can check out and shop futures odds here.

Addison was a monster in Pitt's receiving corps as he turned in a 100-catch, 17-touchdown campaign last year that included close to 1,600 yards.

There were rumors Addison had been eyeing Texas, but he opted to join a Trojans offense that's stockpiling talent via the transfer portal.

Riley, who joined the program following a five-year stint at Oklahoma, also landed quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Mario Williams from the Sooners.

Despite all that firepower, Oregon's still the team to beat.

Following the Addison news, the Ducks are still favored to win the Pac-12 in three of the four books in our trackers. The only shop that disagrees is FanDuel, which prices the Trojans (+140) ahead of the Ducks (+300).

Oregon's consensus number is +250, USC's +284.

The Trojans open up their first campaign under Riley on Sept. 3 against the Rice Owls.
