Ohio State vs Miami Same-Game Parlay
The Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes will clash on New Year’s Eve in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.
Miami is coming off an upset win over Texas A&M, powered by an outstanding defensive performance. The 'Canes sealed that game with an interception in the end zone.
Jacksonville, Florida native Carson Beck has thrown for 3,175 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions this season.
Ohio State enjoyed another dominant campaign, finishing 12–1. Ryan Day’s team suffered its lone loss against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Signal-caller Julian Sayin leads the offense with 3,223 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, and just six interceptions.
Miami's defense has been one of the best in college football all season.
This Miami front features multiple players who will be playing on Sundays, and I expect them to force Sayin into mistakes and slow down Ohio State's offense.
On the other side of the football, Ohio State ranks first in the nation in points allowed per game at 8.8.
Miami has struggled against above-average defenses this year, and I expect similar results in this matchup, but the defensive edge should allow the 'Canes to stay within the number.
Jeremiah Smith was surprisingly not voted the nation’s best wide receiver earlier in the month, but he is widely considered the top wideout prospect in college football.
I expect Ohio State to lean on its star against this strong Miami defense. Smith should see 10-plus targets, and his big-play ability makes this an attractive prop.
The Miami Gardens native has cashed this prop in eight of his 12 games this season.
Ohio State vs Miami Parlay
