It's the dawn of a new era at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.
Caesars Sportsbook has officially taken over operations one of the largest sports betting venues in the world, launching an expanded, tech-forward betting experience ahead of the 2026 football season. Although the announcement was made in April, the takeover didn't officially occur until this week.
The partnership brings Caesars’ wagering platform and mobile technology into the historic venue while preserving the large-scale viewing experience and atmosphere that have defined the SuperBook for decades. It also begins on the heels of a massive jackpot win at Westgate Las Vegas last month.
History of The Westgate SuperBook
The Westgate SuperBook, long regarded as one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable sportsbook destinations.
It's massive race and sports book opened in the mid-1980s at a cost of about 17 million dollars. Spanning more than 30,000 square feet and offering over 350 seats, the venue is designed to handle large crowds of bettors and sports fans in comfort.
Its centerpiece is a 220-foot by 18-foot 4K video wall, built from more than 1,600 LED tiles and tens of millions of pixels, creating one of the most impressive game-day viewing experiences in Las Vegas.
Inside, guests can wager on a wide range of sports, races and events while relaxing in comfortable seating with access to individual screens and an on-site bar. The Westgate SuperBook also hosts major contests such as the SuperContest, a high-stakes NFL handicapping competition known for its sizable prize pool and national following.
Caesars now takes over operations of the book at the off-Strip casino made famous by Elvis Presley’s 636 consecutive sold-out shows at the property. Barry Manilow also has a lifetime residency at The Westgate.

New Betting Features at Westgate SuperBook
Under the new setup, bettors at Westgate SuperBook can access a broader menu of wagers through Caesars Sportsbook, including Same Game Parlays, expanded parlay options and live in-play betting across professional and college sports. More than 20 Caesars Sportsbook self-service kiosks have been installed throughout the SuperBook and the resort, offering around-the-clock access to wagering for guests on property.
As part of the changes, visitors to Westgate SuperBook can now register for a Caesars Sportsbook mobile account while on property, linking their in-person activity with their online play.
“Our guests visit the SuperBook for the atmosphere, the viewing experience and the energy that simply can't be replicated,” said Cami Christensen, President and General Manager of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. “This milestone with Caesars makes it easier than ever to engage with the action while enjoying everything that has made the SuperBook a destination for sports fans.”
On-site improvements at Westgate SuperBook include upgraded mobile wagering capabilities and a streamlined account registration process. In-person wagers placed via Caesars Sportsbook kiosks or over the counter at the SuperBook continue to earn WoW Rewards points and tier credits, tying the expanded betting menu to the broader loyalty program at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest Remains
The transition to Caesars Sportsbook comes ahead of one of the busiest periods on the sports calendar, and both Caesars and Westgate are using the new platform to expand football contests tied to Westgate SuperBook.
The long-running Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest franchise remains in place, with entries open for SuperContest, SuperContest Gold, SuperContest Survivor and SuperContest College for the 2026 season.
In addition, Caesars Sportsbook is rolling out fresh football contests at Westgate SuperBook, including a Pro Pick’em Contest and a Nevada-exclusive $1 Million Parlay Cash Giveaway. Fans can register for the SuperContest offerings and the new Caesars Sportsbook football contests in person at the Westgate SuperBook, with full contest details available through official Caesars and Westgate channels.
Caesars Sportsbook Will Preserve The Legacy While Modernizing
Executives from both companies have framed the move as a way to modernize the SuperBook without losing its identity. Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said the goal is to build on the SuperBook’s history by adding more ways to wager, more convenience and more flexibility, while preserving what has made the venue a defining sportsbook destination in Las Vegas.
With Caesars Sportsbook now powering the Westgate SuperBook, the property aims to make it easier for fans to engage with the action on screen while maintaining the immersive environment that has attracted sports bettors for decades.
All of the same nostalgia will still be there — Elvis, Barry Manilow and the SuperContest — but it will be presented in a more modern setting.
