Ravens Preview: Lamar Leads Elite Rushing Attack
The Ravens offense is an absolute juggernaut right now — they rank first in the NFL in overall success rate, in EPA per rush, and in run block win rate.
Baltimore operates with heavy 12- and 13-personnel looks, boasting what is arguably the best backfield duo in the league in Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson.
Even if Zay Flowers is sidelined again with his hamstring injury, Baltimore can easily adapt. The Ravens will just go heavy, throw to their tight ends, and run the ball straight down the Cowboys' throat.
Defensively, the return of Justin Madubuike is huge as he changes the entire complexion of Baltimore's defensive front.
Cowboys Preview: Insufficient Defensive Personnel
Despite logging their first win last week, I don't think the Cowboys' defense is up to snuff — and they are dealing with injuries everywhere.
Dallas currently ranks last in defensive success rate, and that came against the Giants and a Commanders team that lost Jayden Daniels.
Defensive coordinator Christian Parker is going to need time to fix this defensive unit. They are undersized at linebacker and don't have the physical personnel to step up and defend a heavy power-rushing attack like Baltimore's
Offensively, Dak Prescott will still make plays through the air, but the offensive line is noticeably worse without Tyler Smith, and their traditional running game is basically non-functional right now.
