Cardinals vs Giants NFL Week 4 Preview
The Cardinals' offense has played crisp, efficient football behind Jacoby Brissett.
Brissett provides a high floor of competency, distributing the ball effectively to Arizona's dynamic skill players. He routinely peppers star tight end Trey McBride, who has 33 targets through three games.
Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is also coming off the best game of his young career after he rushed for 90 yards and scored a receiving touchdown against the 49ers.
The Cardinals shouldn't have much trouble moving the ball against a heavily compromised New York defensive unit.
The Giants' season was thrown into chaos when Jaxson Dart went down, forcing Jameis Winston into the starting lineup.
The Jameis experience typically leads to high-variance fireworks; he loves to aggressively push the ball downfield and force tight-window throws. He played things pretty conservatively in the rain last week against Tennessee, but the Giants likely won't be able to tame the beast two weeks in a row.
To make matters worse, Giants edge rusher Brian Burns is out, leaving a pass rush that generated just three pressures on Cam Ward last week completely neutered.
Cardinals vs Giants Prediction, Betting Analysis
Sharps out here in Vegas are already betting this Over, causing the line to cross key numbers.
Without Brian Burns generating pressure, Jacoby Brissett should be able to sit comfortably in the pocket and pick apart a banged-up Giants secondary.
Meanwhile, Jameis Winston will likely push the pace and sling it downfield for the Giants. Expect a fast-paced, high-scoring shootout.
Pick: Over 43.5 (-118)
