Commanders vs 49ers Prop Picks, Preview

Antonio Williams Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Commanders wide receiver Antonio Williams has been relatively quiet since Week 1 when he had four receptions, 64 yards, and a touchdown, but I've generally been impressed with him this season.
You shouldn’t be betting based purely on the eye test, though, but the underlying numbers back up that he should see a big day soon.
Against the Giants last week, Williams ran routes on 28 of the team’s dropbacks, a team-high 76% of their routes. Getting only three targets is a little disappointing, but he’s on the field, running routes, and we should see positive regression.
Williams' line is low here, and he’s surpassed 20.5 receiving yards in four of five games, including all three with Jayden Daniels.
In a game in which the Commanders should be trailing, I’d expect to see Williams cover again.
Pick: Antonio Williams Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-114, FanDuel)
Christian McCaffrey Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

There’s been a lot of talk about Christian McCaffrey’s muted performances this season, and while it’s clear that age is catching up with him, he’s still been productive for the most part.
Crucially, he’ll continue to face boxes that aren’t loaded as long as Brock Purdy keeps playing at the level that he has been this season.
McCaffrey's line for rushing yards varies wildly between books, which is always an indicator that there’s some value to be had, but even as high as 64.5 is still good for me. He’s broken through this number in three of five games and averaged 6.2 yards per carry last week.
He’s still on the field plenty — playing 80% of the 49ers' offensive snaps — and the Commanders are giving up an average of 73.6 rushing yards to opposing RBs.
Pick: Christian McCaffrey Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114, FanDuel)
George Kittle Anytime Touchdown (+110)

49ers tight end George Kittle is tied with Mike Evans for the most red-zone targets on the team (6). That matters because the Commanders have been absolutely terrible against opposing tight ends, allowing seven touchdowns already this season.
Dig deeper into those numbers, and one in every five receptions by an opposing tight end has resulted in a touchdown against Washington.
Kittle is still one of the better TEs in the league, probably on that rung below Brock Bowers and Trey McBride, but he’s registered four touchdowns already this season and needs to be backed here.
The odds are already a little skinny, and I wouldn’t advise taking this at even money or worse.
Pick: George Kittle Anytime Touchdown (+110, FanDuel)
