Betting an NFL Parlay with Anytime Touchdown scorers is incredibly fun, even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type, so how do we scratch the parlay itch without overextending ourselves?
Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge” — here’s how it works in case you're not familiar with the concept:
Each week, I bet on a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to somewhere around +1800 or more. $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season. The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is that you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back.
If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate in fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits. So far, I'm 0-1 this season after hitting on Justin Fields but missing on Davante Adams and George Kittle in Week 1.
Here’s my NFL Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 2.
NFL Parlay — Week 2 Anytime TD Scorers
- CeeDee Lamb Anytime TD Scorer (+100)
- Garrett Wilson Anytime TD Scorer (+175)
- Kyler Murray Anytime TD Scorer (+230)
Parlay Odds: +1715
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than 5% chance of hitting and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.
Giants vs Cowboys TD Pick: CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb is in line for a big performance.
He saw 13 targets in the opener against the Eagles and could’ve posted an even stronger game if not for a few drops.
Now he faces the Giants, a defense that plays heavy man coverage and Cover 1. Lamb led the Cowboys with five touchdowns against man looks last year, making this a prime spot for him to find the end zone.
Bills vs Jets TD Pick: Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson is set up well in this spot.
He scored seven touchdowns last season and added another in Week 1 against the Steelers. He found the end zone in both meetings with the Bills last year.
With the Jets likely to be in a trailing game script, Justin Fields should be throwing often — and Wilson figures to be his go-to target all game long.
Panthers vs Cardinals TD Pick: Kyler Murray
This is a prime matchup for Kyler Murray.
Last season, he scored five rushing touchdowns, and he showed his mobility again in Week 1 with seven rushing attempts.
Now he gets the Panthers’ porous run defense, which gave up 200 rushing yards in their opener.
If the Cardinals move the ball into scoring range, Murray is in a great spot to tuck it and find the end zone.
