Betting an NFL Parlay with Anytime Touchdown scorers is incredibly fun, even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type, so how do we scratch the parlay itch without overextending ourselves?
Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge” — here’s how it works in case you're not familiar with the concept:
Each week, I bet on a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to somewhere around +1800 or more; $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season. The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is that you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back.
If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate in fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits.
Here’s my NFL Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 3.
NFL Parlay — Week 3 Anytime TD Picks
- Drake London Anytime TD Scorer (+150)
- Ja’Marr Chase Anytime TD Scorer (+150)
- Garrett Wilson Anytime TD Scorer (+220)
Parlay Odds: +1780
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than 5% chance of hitting, and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.
Falcons vs Panthers TD Pick: Drake London
Falcons star Drake London has not scored yet this season, but keep in mind that he's had just three end-zone targets through two games.
This week, the wide receiver should get a better matchup versus the Panthers.
The Panthers play a lot of zone with an emphasis on Cover 3, and London leads Atlanta in targets per route run against those coverages.
Plus, London absolutely crushed the Panthers last year with 16 catches and three touchdowns in two games.
Bengals vs Vikings TD Pick: Ja’Marr Chase
Ja’Marr Chase had 16 targets in Week 2 with a touchdown.
The Bengals WR is always going to be a threat to score, with or without quarterback Joe Burrow on the field.
Chase scored 17 TDs last season and will be facing the Vikings, a team that is a bit banged up on defense.
He could see 10+ targets in Week 3, so I love his current chances to score.
Jets vs Buccaneers TD Pick: Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson had seven touchdowns last season and already scored in Week 1.
Even though this hasn't been the best start for him and the Jets, I think they can bounce back versus the Bucs.
Wilson leads the team in targets per route run, plus he’s also run the most routes vs Cover 3, which Tampa Bay uses a lot.
I like the Jets' chances to win this game, and for Wilson to get a TD against the Bucs.
