Betting an NFL Parlay with Anytime Touchdown scorers is incredibly fun, even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type, so how do we scratch the parlay itch without overextending ourselves?
Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge” — here’s how it works in case you're not familiar with the concept:
Each week, I bet on a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to somewhere around +1800 or more. $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season.
The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is that you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back.
If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate in fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits.
Here’s my NFL Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 9.
NFL Parlay — Week 9 Anytime TD Picks
- Nico Collins Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+145, bet365)
- Jauan Jennings Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+180, bet365)
- Khalil Shakir Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+220, bet365)
Parlay Odds: +2095 via bet365
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than 5% chance of hitting, and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.
Broncos vs Texans TD Pick: Nico Collins
Nico Collins has been a consistent red-zone threat this season, finding the end zone three times and leading the Texans with four end-zone targets.
He draws a great matchup against a Broncos defense that plays the most man coverage in the NFL — and will be without star corner Patrick Surtain II.
Expect double-digit targets for Collins and a strong chance to add another score in Week 9.
49ers vs Giants TD Pick: Jauan Jennings
Now fully healthy and off the injury report, Jauan Jennings steps into a favorable spot against the Giants, who run man coverage at the second-highest rate in the league.
Jennings has led San Francisco in target share vs. man defense in each of the last two seasons, and he’s also run the most routes among 49ers pass-catchers over the past three games.
Whether it’s Mac Jones or Brock Purdy under center, Jennings’ usage points toward touchdown upside in this matchup.
Chiefs vs Bills TD Pick: Khalil Shakir
Shakir has quietly become a go-to option for Buffalo’s offense. He scored last week against Carolina and now has three touchdowns this season, leading all Bills receivers in targets, catches, and yards.
Shakir also tops the team with eight red-zone targets, showing Josh Allen’s trust when drives reach scoring range.
In a high-stakes matchup against the Chiefs, Shakir’s chemistry with Allen makes him a strong touchdown pick.
