Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are 3-3 against the spread (ATS) this season, but those last two covers came at home against the Packers and Patriots, both of whom delivered incredibly uninspiring offensive performances.

Las Vegas covered in a Week 1 road win over the Broncos before losing ATS and outright to the Bills, Steelers and Chargers. (Note: There were Raiders +7 numbers available against the Chargers, which would have been a push.)

Vegas' offense has been uninspiring this season under Jimmy Garoppolo, who might not be under center in Week 7. He suffered a back injury against the Patriots that caused him to go to the hospital. It would be Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O'Connell under center against Chicago if Garoppolo can't go.

The Raiders are 1-5 to the under this season. The under has been a popular bet this season in the NFL for good reason. Las Vegas' only over was a Week 2 loss against the Bills, who scored 38 points and were singlehandedly responsible for that side of the total hitting.

Chicago Bears

The Bears are 1-4-1 against the spread this season, but that one push absolutely felt like another defeat when Chicago blew a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter to the Broncos in Week 4. Chicago responded well in Week 5 by housing the Commanders on Thursday night before losing on Sunday to the Vikings at home.

That loss to Minnesota was the first Bears game this season that didn't see the over hit, although Chicago hasn't contributed to those much this season. The Bears allowed 38, 27, 41 and 31 points in their first four games of the season, although they did score 40 against Washington.

A concern for the Bears this week is Justin Fields’ thumb, which was dislocated in the loss against the Vikings. The injury is expected to keep Fields out for at least this week until the swelling can go down.
