Rangers vs. Avalanche Preview

The Colorado Avalanche will host the New York Rangers on Thursday night.

The Rangers enter the game with a 10-9-2 record. Mike Sullivan’s team is off to a subpar start this season, especially considering their expectations. New York has dropped back-to-back games, with its last win coming on November 15, when the Rangers defeated the Blue Jackets in overtime.

Artemi Panarin, 34, leads the team with five goals and thirteen assists.

Colorado, meanwhile, is off to a red-hot start. The Avs have earned a point in 18 of their 19 games and lead the Western Conference with 31 points. Captain Nathan MacKinnon leads the NHL with 14 goals and ranks second with 19 assists. His 33 points are the most in the league.

Leg 1: Avalanche ML

There’s no reason to fade this red-hot team right now. Colorado is playing at another level, having won six straight games. The Avs’ offense has been rolling, scoring 31 goals during that stretch.

They’ve also been dominant at home, posting a 7-0-1 record this season.

Leg 2: Will Cuylle Over 1.5 Shots On Goal

We’ll team up with our Action Pro Report for this prop.

The Rangers center has cashed this number in six of his last seven games. Our Action Pro Report projects him for 2.3 shots on goal tonight.
